A Little Blurb On the Layout

When I first saw this beautiful drawing of the mermaid, I knew I have to make a water themed layout out of it. A couple images and blend later, the result is what you are seeing in front of you :). The blue and green color scheme came from the original image and I thought the colors sort of give out this under the water effect. The blend took me the longest to finish since it consisted a lot of layers, but I am quite satisfied with the result. The title of the layout came from the fact that the mermaid is holding a silver pearl in her hand (you have to look toward the very top of the image). So I thought the title would be fitting.

This layout is best viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer with resolutions 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, and up. Enjoy the layout!
